Resume templates that publish their limits

Every template gallery shows you a picture. None of them tells you how much you can actually put in one before it starts hiding things. These seven do, because we measured it and a test keeps the numbers honest.

What certified means here

It is a narrow claim, so it is worth stating exactly. Certification means the numbers on each page were measured against the layout engine that builds your document, and that a test fails the build if they stop being true. It does not mean everything about the template is verified, and the second column below is the part that is not.

Proven by a test

  • The content limits below are measured, not estimated. Each is the point where the layout engine still keeps every bullet you wrote.
  • One item past each limit, the engine either hides something or needs another page. A test asserts both halves, so a limit cannot be quietly raised.
  • Every section type renders: summary, experience, projects, education, skills, certifications, achievements, and anything custom.
  • Long company names and long URLs wrap instead of running off the page.
  • Nothing but filler sections is ever dropped to make content fit, and roles are never reordered.

Not yet proven

  • Pixel-level visual baselines are not yet automated, so a spacing regression would be caught by review rather than by a test.
  • PDF text extraction rates are not yet measured per template. The export path is shared by all of them, but that is an argument, not a measurement.

The whole set, side by side

Five of these carry the same numbers, and that is the honest result rather than an oversight. The layout engine distinguishes templates by one thing: whether the page has one column or two. Everything else that decides what fits is shared by all of them on purpose. Publishing seven different-looking numbers would have been decoration.
